A refined approach to personal growth and transformation using psychological and body based methods. Based in Queen Anne. Remote and In-Person.

Services

Individuals

Many of my clients are accomplished and outwardly thriving people, and yet experience a sense of disconnection, frustration, and stagnation beneath the surface.  I can help you discover methods that allow you to feel more fulfilled in your life. Some common issues I treat are:

  • Perfectionism and Burnout

  • Dating and Relationship Issues

  • Depression and Anxiety

  • Work/Academic Stress

  • Feeling Stuck

Couples

Couples are often times repeating the same patterns in their relationships, without any awareness of what's going on. Having a third person able to help explain, make it visible, and create a space for safe communication can lead to new relational habits and deeper intimacy. I can help you change your cycles to get your relationship where you want it to be. I work with:

  • Communication

  • Sexual Functioning

  • Infidelity and Trust

  • Destructive Aggression

Supervision

I love helping therapists and coaches develop their own practice. I am licensed to provide clinical support and associate supervision hours to therapists interested in Psychodynamic and Somatic Therapy. I am most interested in those that enjoy working with creatives, business leaders, entrepreneurs and couples. Message me for more details.

My Approach

My work is rooted in the belief that true well-being and satisfaction comes not from managing symptoms or providing tools, but from re-connection with our most vital selves. This approach is mostly grounded in somatic, performance, and humanistic psychological traditions. This unique style allows us to go deeper than typical talk therapy and can help clarify emotional content that can explain many habitual patterns. Check out my FAQ page for more information.

About Me:

I am a licensed therapist and advisor that runs my own practice in Seattle, WA. Originally from Los Angeles, I moved to Northern California for college. While there, I used all the "tools" I developed to better myself: intellect, positivity, and constant determination (all the hallmarks of success!). After achieving everything I wanted - good pay, stable career, ability to travel - I still felt deeply unsatisfied and alone, even while surrounded by what someone would say was an amazing life.

Spurned by a relationship, I entered into therapy that was actually effective. In fact, it was so effective, that when confronted with my own baggage, the thin veneer of success I created, I dramatically quit the therapy! Only after a devastating event was I able to acknowledge I needed more support and I returned to that same therapist. Needless to say, it was and still is not easy, but the result has been life changing.

Now, I live with my partner and soon to be born baby! We recently moved back to her home town of Seattle, and I am thrilled to bring my practice to the area and help even more people.
